Experience: I am a military veteran with degrees from Appalachian and UNC-Chapel Hill. I grew up in Wilkes and live here in Kings Creek. 

Awards include: Eagle Scout, Troop 336. Expert Field Medical Badge, US Army. Graduated Summa Cum Laude, Appalachian State University. National Board Certified Teacher, 2003. NC Regional Teacher of the Year, 2009.
